About the workshop

  • 90 minutes, online on Zoom

  • Small cohort to enable discussions

  • A combination of didactic and interactive activities

  • The Zoom link will be sent out a few days before the workshop.

Goals:

Module 1: Build foundational literacy on trauma, stress responses, and how they appear in research or co-design settings.

Module 2: Learn trauma-informed methods for planning research sessions, structuring questions, and maintaining psychological safety.

Workshop includes:

  • Didactic presentation on Trauma-Informed Design and nervous systems

  • Interactive/practical activities and discussions in a small cohort

  • Take-home resources and worksheets

Investment (CAD)

Self-funded $220: choose this option if you are an individual designer paying out of pocket (e.g., freelancer).

Organization-funded $300: choose this option if your organization is paying for the course/workshop.

Reduced rates are not available for a bundle.

Cancellation policy

  • Full refund: We will honour cancellation requests submitted by email at hitomi@cocoro-colab.com if you cancel at least 14 days before the session. A $30 administrative fee will be deducted.

  • Late cancellations: Cancellations made less than 14 days before the session are non-refundable.

  • Ticket transfers: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to a colleague or friend. Please contact to arrange this at least 3 days before the session.
