Transform the way you design with trauma-informed awareness.
If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to engage ethically with sensitive topics, trauma-informed practice can help you feel more grounded and connected to your purpose.
I bring together my experience as a Service Designer, Researcher, and Trauma Therapist to support designers who want to:
Integrate trauma-informed principles into their design or research practice
Develop emotional resilience and regulation in their work
Build awareness of vicarious trauma and burnout
Reconnect with creativity and authenticity after difficult projects
We’re currently building Trauma-Informed Design courses and workshops! 🥳

Learn Trauma-Informed Design
Who It’s For
Designers, researchers, and civic leaders who want to integrate trauma-informed awareness into their work and their own well-being.
This is a great fit for you if you:
Engage with sensitive or emotionally complex topics in design and research projects and wonder how to conduct user engagements ethically and mindfully.
Work on topics that cause you emotional fatigue, sometimes hitting close to home.
Are a practitioner who wants to balance empathy for others with self-awareness.
* The programs are more suitable for intermediate and senior practitioners.
What to Expect
Each program combines education, reflection, and guided practice.
Depending on your needs, this may include:
Live and recorded group learning online.
Psychoeducation on the nervous system and trauma, how trauma may show up in user engagements, and how it may impact researchers and users. (More details will be available in the Learning Objectives under each workshop.)
Reflective exercises and embodied awareness practices.
Time for Q&A.
* This is not therapy or an alternative to therapy treatment. To keep the space safe and ethical for everyone involved, we ask all students to keep personal and trauma content to themselves.
Outcomes / Benefits
You’ll walk away with:
More confidence in engaging with sensitive or emotionally complex topics.
Better understanding of how trauma shapes human experiences.
Self-reflection on the areas you would want to continue working on.
Stronger emotional boundaries and regulation skills.
A design practice that feels both grounded and compassionate.
Values / Approach
I combine over a decade of service design experience with advanced training in trauma therapy and somatic regulation. My work helps designers connect the understanding of trauma-informed practice, the inner work of emotional awareness, with the outer work of creating safer, more responsive designs.
I believe in learning at your own pace. You are free to listen/watch the session in a way that works for you. Recordings will be available after, and it is not required to attend live.
